Production

All of Magic Steel's operations are housed in an 181,000 square foot facility located in Grand Rapids. This facility is located next to US-131 and has rail access. The warehouse portion of the facility consists of four bays, each with overhead cranes. Major production equipment includes:

    • Primary use is for slitting cuts under 1" wide, and coils under 20,000 lb. in order to maximize productivity on larger sitters

    • Primary use is rewrapping coils to meet coil weight or ID/OD requirements

    • Automated packaging line able to package 20/24" ID, 72" Max OD, 10,000 Max coil skid wt. two 4 arm turnstiles, 2 down layers, 3 head 3/4" automatic bander, 2 arm turret stacker, 8 place carrousel, run out line with skid banding stations and inline scale.
  • B-Bay Samuel Strapping Packaging Line
    • Automated packaging line able to package 20/24" ID, 72" max OD, 10,000 max coil/ski wt. 4 arm turnstile, down layer, 2 head 3/4"/1-1/4" automatic bander, stacker, 6 place carrousel, run out line with skid banding station and inline scale.
